Hi All.....anyone like or dislike these? I have heard that they "pop" off very easliy. I love the idea of the extra thickness, and have used them together with the .20 lashes . I appreciate if you have any thoughts! www.aphroditessalon.com

The B-Curl lashes are my all time favorite and I exclusively use them, as they suit everyone. I tend to use the .15's and .20's mostly. Its a rare client that has lashes strong and thick enough to support the weight of .25 thickness alone. Personally, I would recommend they be used with the .20's. As for the Popping off, I'm not sure about that one. I would dare to suggest that you need to pick up a bit more glue on the extension if they are not staying on. I know that when I apply the .20's, I generally need to pick up more glue than the .15's. Hope this helps?

Thanks Tami! I feel the same way about them but as you know, clients want the "thickest and blackest" lashes....I think I plan on using them sporadically and seeing how they do ...

Also, why do you use .15s?

At the start of each full set, I ask my clients one important question. Do you want the thicker mascared look? OR Do you want them blacker, natural and a little more thicker? If they want the mascared look, I'll reach for my .20 lashes exclusively. If they want the blacker natural look, I will use the .20 to set my bones and then fill inbetween with the .15's. The ratio works out approx (60%).15's & (40%).20's Hope this makes sense?

Thats what I do too, except I use more of the 0.20 lashes mixed in the 0.15's.

Hi!!! I have the .25's in a few sizes. If the client has naturally very thick lashes and long already, I would use mostly .2's and put about 8-15 or so to give depth. In this situation without some .25's the extensions would kind of get "lost" in their own lashes. These arent b curl's, they are j curls but this client has long lashes, in the b&w picture it does get washed out but her lashes are 10 mm in the inner corners and go to 12 mm naturally. She held on to the .25's wonderfully!. In this case I used mostly .25's with only a few .2's ( i did make a boo boo in this set which I realized after- I had put the .25 a bit too much on the outer corners. I should have put the .2 at the very end hairs- you see the width of the extension) Lesson learned- I don't do that anymore :-) I do not think it is necessary to stock the whole gamut of sizes in .25's but do think that it is good to stock some. For example I stock them in 10-12 mm's. If I am max lengthing at 11mm's then I would only use 10 mm length etc....

btw- I don't think they pop off that easy, I think they are easier to *pick* off if your client is a picker. These are really only to be used on clients with beafy lashes to begin with. A thin lash could never support it.
Hmmm- tami- what about a .25 mink type? do you think it is easier supported by med thickness natural lashes?

Hi Ria, I havn't got my hands on the Mink .25 lashes. I would imagine they would be lighter, since they are a silk fibre. mmm...now you have me thinking (warning, warning)...lol Going back to your original post about putting the .25' in the outer corner - they don't look like they hang down too low on the side. The lashes you put on me are still going strong - must be that great glue your using Laura, I must admit I love using all .20 lashes on everyone, however sometimes the need calls for the .15 lashes. I've recently been playing around with the rapido's mixed with the .20's and I must admit they do look pretty good too if your client wants a real glam look.
