Hi everyone, I am another newbi. I have been learning so much from reading all your posts. Amazing stuff. I have been practicing on some of my family and friends trying to get my technique down. Is there anyone out there that can tell me what size crystals you are using on the lashes??? The pictures that you are posting with them are beautiful and I would like to try that.

Welcome to Lash Chat esti. Most crystals I have seen are between 5mm and 9mm. Good luck with your lashes and your crystals. Now go kiss your hubby!!!!!!!

I like the larger crystals myself. I've been using the 1.8mm ones. Anything larger is too heavy.

Hi esti4lashes I agree with Eyecandy, I too think that anything bigger than the 1.8mm crystals will weigh the natural lashes down. The bigger the crystal, the closer to the base it needs to glued onto. Smaller crystals can be placed lower on the curl of the extension.
Here is how I apply crystals: 1. Isolate the lash you are going to apply the crystal on 2. With a lash extension, scoop up some glue and wipe the glue onto the natural lash. 3. Pick up the crystal with your tweezers and place it onto the lash (that has the glue on it) 4. Hold/Nudge the crystal until the glue dried and it sets.
Another variation you could try is to use the end of a toothpick. Dip the tip of the toothpick in water and pick up the crystal (it will stick to the water). Then place on the natural lash (that has the glue on it).
The trick is to use a fast drying glue so that you don't need to hold the crystal too long until it sets.

LoveyourLashes , Eyecandy, and Tami, Thank you all for your suggestions. I have ordered some crystals and am looking forward to trying them. If I can figure out how to post a picture when I get them on I will Tami, thanks for the step by step instructions as I really wasn't sure how to apply them. Do you use the lash glue or is there a special glue that you use??? To all, thank you again as I'm still learning esti4 lashes

Your welcome, anytime! I recommend the Flash Adhesive to glue the Crystals on. As for posting a Picture, you'll need to create an account with www.photobucket.com and upload your pictures (from your computer) onto their website. It will generate a html code that you copy and paste into where you write your messages. If you need anymore help, let me know
