Hi Veru, welcome to Lash Chat Showers normally don't cause sensitivity. A lash application requires 24-36 hours for the glue to cure/dry. Even with fast drying adhesives. But showers can cause a threat to getting the lashes wet within the first 24 hours. Even if the client keeps her face/lashes dry, the hot steam is just as bad as wetting them. After 24 hours, another thing to watch out for : is if the client puts her face directly into the water stream. The pressure of the water plummets onto the lashes, causing them to be pulled out. I aways tell my clients not to allow the water to fall directly onto their eyes for this reason. I'll suggest that they cup their hands and splash the water onto their face/eyes instead.

I have the same problem in the first days after having them done, but it goes away after about 4 showers.

Hi Veru, I've never heard of such a problem myself. Its seems a bit strange. Is the glue your using waterproof? Which glue are you using?

HI, I use glues from Xtreme Lashes HPA, HP3... they are waterproof. Its not only problem of my client, but more clients from other lash stylist. I cant make clear this. It can not be adhezive, it can not be lashes... Can it be a protective coating?? Or??

Hi Veru, A sealer/protective coating helps the lashes be protected from humidity and water. I can't see how it would cause the lashes to fall out faster. It should be the opposite and make them last longer I can't say whether the glue is waterproof, as I have not used it myself.
