Anyone used the Zephyr Air Wand? It looks bulky and cumbersome to me but I came across the Mini-Vac at www.2spi.com and wondered if anyone had an opinion. I like that it is really small and battery operated. This is really important living in the capital city of a country that suffers power outages! Anyone ever tried lashing by candlelight? Don't! Sorry if I'm posting consistently but I am passionate about lashing and in short supply of support or mentoring.

I bought the zepheir and really was a waste of 100$. Not really strong at all. I really don't use blowers anymore but I have one of those battery operates hand held fans. It works great when I am done with a set and need to make sure they are dry quick. Bed bath and beyond has them or your local drug store. They are only a few dollars!
I realy dont think you need anything too expensive. Buy something else or more specialty lashes with your money ;-)

I have the Zephyr because I trained with one. I used it a lot with my slow drying glue, but now that I have the faster drying glue, I don't use it very much. I always set it up-I use it with the plug, not batteries-and mainly use it to dry the lashes when I'm done, before I apply the IPA. I think as long as you are using a fast drying adhesive you would do just as well with a cheap little fan.

I find the cheap fans to be just as good as anything else and you can most likely purchase from the drugstore. I think also, once you get faster and use a fast drying glue the fan is virtually a memory. I use it so rarely now. Once I seal and use the alcohol 91% and take the tape off and then wake my client up its all good.

Ditto. I only use my fan at the end of my application, to blow away any fumes from the eyes before they open them. I got my handheld (foam blade) fan for $5 from Toys R Us. I had to peel the Hanna Montana stickers off it first!
