Just wondering how long on average therapists manage to keep to keep eyelash clients (repeated refills). I've had a client returning for lashes now for 18mts.
Also can a client continue to wear lashes indefinitely without any harm to their eyes. I'm thinking about continued exposure to the adhesive. Tami do you know if there is a definitive answer to this question.

Hair, Nails (and lashes) is hardened Keratin. Which means it is dead, dried up skin - Yuck huh? In reality lashes do not get effected by glue, as extensions are not (and should not be) applied touching the skin. Its like acrylic nails. You can wear them for years and years. After you remove them, your nails grow back exactly as they were. However in saying this, I do believe that using the wrong Lash Thickness on fine lashes may create a problem. I personally don't recommend stressing the natural lash with a heavy extension for Two reasons. One - the natural lash will not be able to support the weight when the extension has grown out and is almost 1/2 way or more grown out. Two - The natural lashes may become finer over long periods of wear and may fall out earlier than normal. The 0.25 lashes are the heaviest lashes. I would only recommend using them on clients with Medium/Thick lashes.
