How long do you spend on a standard refill? What time should a standard refill take? What time period do you recommend in-between refills?

Also what order do you tackle the refill. E.g.

1. brush gently through lashes with a comb;
2. Remove unruly lashes with remover;
3. if there is lots of regrowth cut the extension with a scissors leaving the natural lash intact (as described by Tami yesterday in order to replace with a new lash);
4. fill in gaps with new lashes to fill out the design.

Is there a more efficient way to do refills?

Hi ECL

I normally allow up to One Hour for a refill, unless they request more time. I use to ask my clients to come ever 2-3 weeks for a fill, but since I've been using the Flash Glue, they are coming ever 3-4 weeks now.

I never use a lash comb at the start. Only when applying a full set do I comb the natural lashes. Then I remove the unruly lashes as I work at apply lashes. That is I repair/replace as I go. I've cut any super long, natural lashes only as necessary. I concentrate on filling in any large gaps first and then going over again and adding more.

I don't know if there is a more efficient way to do it, but this is what works best for me.

My refills come in every 3-4 weeks (like Eyecandy)
My fills take 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the client and how she looks after them.

Here is how I do my refills:

1. use my tweezers to comb through the extensions and remove any lashes that may have away from the natural lashes. Either by peeling them off or using the Gel Glue remover.
2. Cut any extension off, thatmay have grown out more than 3/4 of the natural lash.
3. Wipe over the lashes with the makeup remover wipes.
4. Apply the Protein remover on both eyes
5. Prepare my lashes and glue
6. Apply the extensions - Filling in any Gaps firstly
7. Continue to apply more lashes on both eyes until the lash line is full again.
