Hi Tami and others are you stll using this method and how are you finding the results. Is it making the lashes: - Dry faster - Last longer? If so by how long? - What is the best way to apply to get the best results? - Does anyone use this with a rubberised glue? - Any problems identified?
Thank you your responses would be appreciated.

Can anyone tell me the exact ingredient in the glue to look for that tells you it is rubberized? I have a feeling mine is, but would like to know for sure before trying this method!

Rubberised adhesives contain Latex ingredients. The good thing about Latex adhesives, is that it doesn't go hard or crusty like some other glues out there. Although I have not personally experienced it (as our glues do not contain latex), I've been told that Latex based adhesives do tend to bloom if the lashes get wet if/when the clients eyes tear.

- Dry faster No faster than using the Flash Lash on its own
- Last longer? If so by how long? Same - perhaps a week longer? Its hard to say, as some clients have good weeks and bad weeks with their lashes. Lash cycles are alway changing, so it doesn't help to confirm this theory.
- What is the best way to apply to get the best results? Eyeshadow Sponge applicators seem to be popular. Or even a lip brush. What ever you choose, always fold a tissue under the lashes to catch/absorb any excess liquid.
- Does anyone use this with a rubberised glue? Never used Latex adhesives, as there are many people allergic to latex. Not sure if the IPA method would work with rubberised glues.
- Any problems identified? Only tried it for a few months and I did not personally experience any problems.

Hi! I have found that IPA did bloom novalash when I tried it. At this point I am sooo over novalash. Other adhesives like FLash Lash have made NLPB a dinosaur :-)

Hi Tami
Like I said, I always use it. Anything that helps keep the bond is a good step for me, and my clients stay happy. The problems I have now is I have loads of growth on infill appointments, takes me ages to prep the lashes.

I'm going to try the IPA to see if it makes a difference. Where do you store it? in a bottle or jar?

Hi, we are new to the chat line! What a great resource! We hail from Toronto, Canada (...eh) We are very excited to read that there may be a solution to help clients who suffer an allergic reaction to the lash glues. We have a case of someone who reacts the day following application with swelling, redness and itching of the upper eyelids for three to four days at least, followed by peeling of the skin on the upper eyelids. Would you have any further suggestions before we try this method on a couple of lashes as a test? Have you had other such cases reported? The Chameleon Girls,

i tryed this on about 30 clients and everyone came back worse, the lashes were crispy to touch and the returns were bad, and as for opening the eyes quicker , my clients said that the smell and the chemical fumes was just too much, and when i had it applied to me too, it was foul smelling and stingy at eye opening time, thumbs down for me sorry guys. but i agree it would be ok for preppin. hi tami how u doin

I agree Darkangel, but in a liquid form it needs to be used with care. IPA can sting the eyes easily if it leaks into the eye. We Sell and recommend the alcohol wipes to use on the lashes, to avoid this from happening.
