I've been doing lash extensions for 8 months now, really getting the hang of my new skill (and loving it). I have a few questions, and don't have anyone to go to for assistance: When applying extensions, I carefully separate each individual lash, then place an extension on it, give it a few seconds to dry. When the client comes back for her fill, there invariably is 2 lashes attached to the base of the extension. How and the world did that happen? What am I doing wrong? Do I need to get more powerful eyeglasses? Any advise is appreciated. Jewlzy

Could be many reasons why this is happening. Perhaps you are separating well and isolating ONE single hair ready to be extended and the glue is NOT drying fast enough for your application speed. When you release the lash, the nearby lashes get stuck in the glue. Try our 3 second dry FLASH LASH glue. OR It could be your isolation technique needs improving and your not spreading your tweezers wide enough to keep the other lashes away while the glue is wet. OR Your not working on your clients eyes going back and forth (left eye then, right eye) which is causing and the natural lashes to be pushed into the wet glue. OR Unfortunately you may need some prescriptive glasses

Thank you Tami for the response. I'm using the back and forth technique with good separation (in my opinion), and I see where the glue can be the culprit and cause of my anxiety. I'll also look into a more powerful pair of cheater. Again, thanks!
