This happens to me now every time I get lashes done ( just in the last year I've developed some sort of allergy) ... my eyes get very red a few hours after I get the lashes put on and last about 2-3 days , I don't get any itch or soreness (thank goodness ) , my lash tech told me it's just from the fumes in the glue unfortunately

Long story short my eye was sore red and felt like it had been scratched on my eye ball, I went on holiday and when I got back asked pharmacist for eye drops after a few days they weren't working so I went back and was given antibiotic eye drops, they didn't work either. After 3 and a half weeks of this I did a push doctor appointment and the antibiotics given did seem to work, but my never felt completely right. A week ago my eye flared right back up again, this time I was given different antibiotics, after a week they didn't work, doesn't spec savers on advice from pharmacist he put dye in my eye and ring the hospital and got me an emergency appointment, at the hospital I was told I had a corneal ulcer and prescribed 2 lots of antibiotics to take every 2 hours, I am back at the hospital next Thursday. I was told that corneal ulcers can cause loss of vision and blindness, which my vision has been affected, I just want to let people know as I have had such a terrible day and can't thank spec savers enough for getting me and getting me sent to hospital immediate!y IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS AFTER LASH EXTENSIONS PLEASE SPEND £20 ON AN EYE TEST, ITS POTENTIALLY AND HOPEFULLY SAVED ME MY EYESIGHT

This just happened to me yesterday. My very first set of eyelash extensions, so I knew nothing about the application process.
He kept my eyes OPEN the entire time. I blinked some, but at no time were my eyes closed, and he even had me hold a fan at my eyes at one point,
I guess that was the curing process, again my eyes were open!!! I did shut them for a minute, I couldn't take the air from them fan, but at least it
was helping some with the burning that was starting!! process. THEN........after I got home, my eyes were tender but starting to burn worse.
I removed my contacts both eyes felt like sandpaper and were watering like crazy. My left eye is the worst. I woke up this morning
to pink eye like symptoms, swollen and matted with goop. What a mess, and the left eye is especially tender to the touch.
Still have to go to work, so on my way, I stopped at CVS and bought some eye drops, and it has helped some.
At least my eye isn't matting shut at the moment, but the left eye still is red and swollen. What a painful experience, one I'm not sure

Hey! I have had this experience before and I am currently going through this now, just having my lashes done the night before. It was exactly as described from the post above; red/bloodshot lower part of the eye, bruising sensation but my eyelids are not swollen.

Pretty much last time I went to the pharmacy and brought bloodshot or infected Oprex eye drops and after 2 days I was fine. There isn't much you can do, you can wait it out and leave your lashes in but take care of your eyes OR just remove them if you don't feel comfortable with the sting.

This time I'm going to keep them in and use eye drops again to keep cleaning out the 'infection'

**TIPS**

- Do not touch your eye
- Do not get infill's until they're completely fine
- Keep eyedrops near to help with the dryness and redness
- Keep yourself hydrated, honestly your eyes feel so much lighter
- Maybe take a painkiller or anti infection tablets (prescribed!!)

If you're still concerned and its been a week then defiantly go to your doctor or remove them until you're ready again. Its not worth damaging your eye.

I hope this helps or eases your minds! P.S This is just based on my experience's & how I overcame it. If you don't agree or have an issue then just realise that everyone's eyes are different (my eyes a quite sensitive). But yeah, if you don't agree then don't take my advice and I apologise if it hasn't helped! Good Luck I'm sure you still look beaut!

- The tape isn't touching or too close to your eye
- GET A PATCH TEST
- Make sure your lashes are dry before you open your eye. The fumes from the glue is whats the killer

Hello. I had to go to the Urgent care it was so bad. The doctor prescribed prednisone drops for 5 days with a recommendation to call an ophthalmologist if no improvement in redness in 3 days. Fortunately it did improve. I am so bummed. The salon said they use sensitive glue and it was probably due to either the gel,pads or the primer. Next time they said to skip the primer and use surgical tape. Not sure I want to risk it. After a week my eyes are fine and the lashes look great.

I’ve had the same kind of issue but I got a lash lift!! I’ve never had one before I’ve had lash extensions with no issues but already have long lashes so decided to do that, it happened Friday I was fine woke the next morning it was horrible red, bloodshot, crusty, just gross.
