Hi, I've puchaced the new lash dryer and was wondering how long you use the machine per eye and how far away to hold it? Also do you use regular tap water and how often should it be changed? Thank you

Hi Lashful, Thank you for bringing this issue up with us. I will be sure to include these instructions with the units I would suggest that you ask the client to hold it (upright) while you remove the eyepads and clean her up. This saves time while your working. Normally it would be on each eye for 2-3 mins. The unit works brilliantly with the eyes open, as it reduces any redness and irritation, leaving the eyeball feeling moist, cool and comfortable. My clients love it much more than my fan. It can be held 1-2 inches away from the eyeball. You can use regular tap water, but we suggest sterile water (from a chemist) to be better from a hygienic perspective. The water needs to be changed at least 2-3 times a day or filled as required. The hand piece and mist outlet MUST to be wiped over with Isopropyl alcohol (beauty salon supplier) between clients. Alternatively you can use Methylated spirits (supermarket) to keep the hand peice clean.

Hello! Thank you so much for getting back to me. One more thing... I'm clueless to where the replacement filters go and how often to replace them. Haha, the first time I used the machine I didnt know that you had to hold it upright and I drench 1 eye with water!! LOL Luckily she was a regular and could see the funny side

Depending on how often the unit is used, the Filters need to be changed at least once a year.

to prevent any water coming out of the hand piece, we suggest that you only fill the chamber to 1/3 with water

Hi Carol, The filter goes under the unit and needs to be changed every year. You can use distilled water if you prefer

2 questions: Can we use the vaporizer with any glue? or is it exclusive to Lash Our glues? and .... Can you explain the science behind the humid vapor working to be able to wet the lashes faster after application?

The vapourizer works well with our glues, not sure about other types as I have not had the need to test those. The way the system works, is that the cold moisture mist changes the chemical composition of the glue and polymerizes it....turning it into a 'tupperwear' like plastic and sets it faster.
