Don't three or four lashes attached to one original lash be too heavy, either droop the lash or worse make the natural lash fall out?

I used my minks on a refill client today. I'm using .2's and I tried to use 2 on one lash. Her lashes are fairly strong but very varied in length. The 2 on one lash worked really well for looking more full. I could only get them to stay on the lashes that were long.

The Minks are lighter than the regular individual lashes.

Ok....so I absolutely love the minks but the clients I had last week did not..... I had three new installations and they are saying they are losing the lashes faster...... Do you all do the protein treatment or hydrogen peroxide before to "prep" the lashes? Maybe that is the issue..... Help! www.aphroditessalon.comLaura

I'm using Minks exclusively. I do the protein prep prior to installation, then follow up with the IPA. I've been getting great returns using this system.

The prep of the natural lashes makes all the difference. Either the Protein remover or IPA can be used to prime the lashes before you start. Just a note, be sure that the protein remover has dried completely before you start lashing. After I apply the protein remover, I set up my lashes and glue. Then I go back to the lashes with a mascara spoolie andtwirl it through the natural lashes to ensure they are dry and well seperated. Using the Mascara spoolie also gets rid of any extensions that are almost coming off when your doing a refill. Personally, I prefer this tool than the lash comb.
