There are heaps of Adhesives out there. Fast drying, slow drying, fume free bla bla bla. A bottle of glue can cost as little as $15 and cost as much as $180 a bottle So how does your glue compare? Whats your favorite and why?

I like the very fast drying adhesives. I have my placement down very well so for me I just want to get to the next lash and not have to wait for the adhesive to dry. My current favorite is the Flash Lash from Lash Out. The price is very competitive and the quality is excellent.

My name is Robin. I would like to know what kind of glue you prefer and why? The cost is not an issue, the issue is does it work. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

Hi Robyn, I've been using the Flash glue as well. It dries so quickly that it can keep up with my application time. Also the returns have been fantastic. More than 70% of the lashes are still on after 4 weeks. I was trained by Extreme, but found that the glue was not lasting as long and was expensive. I'm so happy that I found a product that actually works.
Flash is my all time favorite as its runnier than Extreme. Not as thick and gluggy and there is no build up of glue on the lashes. Tami at Lash Out has been very helpful and sent me a few freebie lashes to try out when I ordered the glue. I've been trying out the lashes and I'll be ordering the Thick 0.20 ones soon.

Good glue is really important as everyone knows. I have tried so many, and they have ended in the rubbish bin. I use only LASHOUT . I use both Flash Lash, and also Advanced glue. Advanced glue is a stronger bond than flash lash. drying time is much of a muchness. The bond of advanced glue is excellent and lasts longer .. both glues do not go gluggy while you are working. The price I do not care about. It comes down to the quality of my work.

Hi ya Guys
My name is Kylie I am from England.
I have just started to use Flash lash glue and am still getting used to it.
I have a couple of questions with regards to the lash application should I only be bonding the base of the extension to the lash or the majority of the extension on to the lash.
also how much of this glue do you apply to the extension it dries so quickly which is fab but as is say i am still trying to get use to it.
I have found once the extensions have been applied they can feel almost brittle and a couple may even ping off i am wondering if i am not doing something quite right.
I was trained by Jinnylash here in London but the glue i was provided with was just not lasting. My technique is assessed every 6 months so i know that my application for Jinnylash is correct but maybe i should b adapting it for the use of flash lash.
Any comments would b greatly appreciated.
Thanx
Kylie

Hi Kylie and Chili - welcome!
Kylie the Flash glue is thin textured glue. When I was taught to do lashes, I was told to dip the extension into the glue and wipe off a little before applying. I had to change my style of application when I first started using the Flash glue. Now I scoop up as much as of the glue as possible and coat the natural lash with it. Once I have enough of the glue on the natural lash, I drop the extension onto it. If I have coated the natural lash well enough and there is still too much glue on the extension, I gently touch the eyepad to remove any excess glue and then drop it. I usually apply the extension to the entire length of the natural lash, unless I'm using C-Curls or I need the change the direction I want the lash to go in. Sometimes the clients lashes are bent, especially on the outer corners and I need to do a little corrective work with the direction of the extension. The Flash takes a little getting use to, Like the Advanced glue, but when you get the hang of it, You'll love it and so will the clients as it is long lasting.
Chili, I've used the Pro-Glue from Lash Beauty and didn't like the consistency of this glue. It was thicker than others, which was Ok, but I wasn't overjoyed with the staying power.

Hi Criserjs, Welcome to the chat! The difference is the drying time and bond. The Advanced takes about 10 to dry and the bond is stronger than the Flash. Both are very similar, but it depends on how fast you are at applying lashes. I have found the the Advanced (like the Flash) dries faster if the room is warm. Its winter over here in Australia, and I"ve been using a heater in the room to make the Advanced glue dry faster. Hope this helps.

Tami, thanks for clarifying...I live in West Virginia USA, and right now it really cold(well compared to CA, where Im from). How do I go about ordering both adhesives, that way I can see which I prefer? Also, do you refridgerate it? How do you store it?Any problems with clogging? what is the cost?

Criserjs, you can order any of our products through our on-line shopping cart. On the home page, just click on SHOPPING. Then click on the blue LOG IN and enter your details to create your account (be sure to remember your password). If you have any problems, you can email me directly at lashout@bigpond.net.au
You won't need to refridgerate any of our Adhesives, just keep them in a dark & cool place. The Advanced and Flash glues DO NOT go gluggy, however the opening of the bottle may get blocked if its not kept clean and you may have to re-pierce the hole if it does. Both glues retail $78.95
Hope this is helpful.

yes, I finally found the site, and am putting a cart together now, Im already up to $170and keep finding more stuff I want to try...is the advanced glue you speak of, the glue that says high spped glue? I am confussed as to which one is the "advanced". Also, how is the belma compared to normal water based eye makeup remover? Im just wondering what the difference is. Also I am getting the protien remover...it states that it will leave the lashes so they are tacky like...that concerns me a bit bc I am wondering if it gets too tacky to where the lashes stick together...what makes them sticky?

I am confussed as to which one is the "advanced". We have just listed it on the website - No photo as yet.
Also, how is the belma compared to normal water based eye makeup remover? The Belma Remove is great for taking off the most stubborn mascara (including waterproof mascara)
Also I am getting the protien remover...it states that it will leave the lashes so they are tacky like...that concerns me a bit bc I am wondering if it gets too tacky to where the lashes stick together...what makes them sticky? Because the product is wet it can cause the lashes to stick together a little. I use the product like this:
1. Apply the Protien remover with a disposable MiniTip 2. Get the extensions and the glue ready. 3. By now the lashes are dry. 4. Comb the lashes 5. Start your application Once the Protein remover has dried, and the lashes are ready, you should be right to go. The protein remover strips the natural lashes of any oil, excess lash tint, Make-up remover, Moisturiser, dirt & Mascara remnents. Ensures a secure bond with the adhesive.
