Hi All, does anyone have any tips to avoid over straining your eye's? Lately I've been lashing 8-12hr days 4-5 days a week and apart from being exhasted at the end of the day, my eyes are killing me!! I've been wearing presciption +0.75 reading glasses the last 2 months, they have helped heaps. The new Lash out lash dryer is definately helping with the hand strain

Getting PRESCRIPTION glasses from an optometirst is VERY important, and will definately help you. Fluoro lighting can make eyes very sore. Most Maggi lamps use fluoro tubes, but unless you actually need to look through it...there are other alternatives. Try using a desk lamp or a floor lamp with a halogen bulb. Also be sure to take a break every 3 hours to give your eyes a rest.

Thanks for your help Tami! I've got the glasses, forced breaks, accupuncture, massage AND eyedrops.... My eyes are rarely sore anymore. I'm still going to get the lamps, too.
I've been using Blink Contacts Eye Drops 10ml, apparently when you are concentrating quite hard you tend to blink less. I don't wear contacts but this solution is great!
