Hi guys Iv just had a client in who has lost the lashes on the outside corner of one of her eyes due to HRT, how do you fill those gaps? I did a little re-direction and a couple of branches which worked nicely but I've seen gaps filled with flares but am unsure how to do that? Any tips? Whatever it is would have to be stuck to the skin due to the nature of the gap, can you do that? Obviously not with the cyanacrylate (sp?) glues, but perhaps everlash or similar? Are there any tips or tricks you can share when filling really bad gaps where there is no natural lashes. If you have photos that would help heaps! thanks

depending on the size of the gap and any natural hair growth...there are some options. 1. You could try applying finer and shorter lashes to those baby hairs. 2. You can try what your suggesting (with the flare lashes), but it is not recommended to attach those to the natural lashes, as the weight will break the natural hair. If you do decide to glue it onto her eyelid, you cannot use the same lash glue. You will need to source a latex/rubber glue from the pharmacy. Just bear in mind, they wont last very long.

Thanks Tami - will try with the baby lashes and see how they go. As she is having HRT she doesnt really have any lashes there though, thats why I was thinking that maybe the flares would work. hmmm Ill have to have a play!
