Hello! I am a recently certified Novalash extensionist. Love the board, learn HEAPS of information on it. Thank you for all your contribution to the board! After reading, reading, reading, posts I'm going to purchase some of the Flash Lash Glue but I have a couple questions. I think I am ready for the Advanced glue as where novalash platinum bond is taking WAY too long to dry, noticing tons of "stickies" and seem to be separating a lot. I'm afraid to invest a lot of money in trying out a new glue since now I have 4 bottles of Platinum Bond (came in my kit) and am not loving it. How necessary is it to buy the prep and remover solution with the glue? What does the prepping do? There is no prep step with NLPB. I have also read alot about IPA, is that another step that you do with Flash Glue? Also, I was taught with the glue on the back of the glove technique, but I understand I need a jade stone for this glue. Any tips would be LOVELY! Some of my current clients have purchased an Novalash after care kit, which is their mascara and makeup remover pads. Does lash out sell something like this? The makeup remover pads are oil-based, so they wont be able to use them with this glue correct? I am hoping to speed up my application time with a glue switch. Again thank you for all your feedback on the board! ;D

Hi Jennifer, The Lash Out! range works beautifully together. Our Lash Prep is designed to create a better adhesion for the glue. The purpose of using a prepper is so that it removes any residue makeup remover and dehydrates the natural lash of oils and proteins. Although IPA can be used for this, we do NOT recommend IPA to prepare the natural lashes, as it stings and can really irritate the eyes. Furthermore, I do not know how well the IPA will work with the Flash Glue. We sell the Jade stones that you are looking for, but if you do decide to use one - try covering it with some cling wrap or aluminium foil. This way you can just throw it out when your done and your Jade stone stays clean. When I train my students I have them use the glue wheel. You will need to put about 5-6 drops of glue into the well. Fantastic for client after client days, as the well keeps the glue runny and workable all day. These can be cleaned out with a cotton tip after use. All the homecare/retail products are sold individually and are very reasonable (especially when you buy in bulk). You can purchase your own chiffon bag to create your own homecare kits. You need to be careful about using any oil based product on extensions, as it will eventually cause the extensions to fall off the natural lashes. Too much oil in a product will cause a problem. Hope this helps?
