Hi guys, iv had some customers ask lately if iv been certified with my training and if the place I trained was a recognized training school. Correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I know there are not yet any governing body when it comes to training for eyelash extensions? Don't get me wrong iv been doing lashes for 3 years but it throws you a little when customers ask this and they don't feel that the training I had was good enough. I think this is also happening as I recently moved fro Sydney to Newcastle nsw and iv been taking the competitions clients and theyare telling everyone I'm not trained.
What should I say? Has anyone else had this problem??
ThNks

.....and is your competition's training certified? lol .... They are probley just as certified as you. Tell them that The only Training governing body in Australia comes from a REGISTERED TRAINING ORGANISATION. It is not an easy task to establish an RTO, as the Government usually funds the training costs for the students (like with Austudy). Most training companies offer a certificate of attendance or achievement. Training will vary from place to place and so will the costs. What is important, is that your training encompasses ALL areas of medical conditions and allergies that affect clients with eyelash extensions. Everything else is pretty much standard.
