I've been getting my eyelashes done for a few years now and I've switched to a new girl who is putting them on for me. She's doing a beautiful job except that after a few days they are falling off. My own eyelashes are staying there, just to be clear, they aren't falling out. Can anyone shed some light on why they might be doing this? I am using the same glue and eyelashes as I've always used so I'm thinking it's a technique thing? My eyelashes are very clean prior to putting them on as well. Is there anything I can tell her to do differently to prevent this from happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

If the glue has worked well for you before, then it sounds to me like the application needs mastering. Perhaps the new girl doesn't know how to use the glue correctly? There are different consistencies/thicknesses in various brands, and each requires a little 'adjusting' until you spend some time getting to know the glue. The manufacturer of the glue should be able to shed some light on the subject.
Also, it could be the way your clients cares for her lashes at home that could be affecting the duration. Your clients should be washing their eyes with a mild soapy cleanser 2-3 times a week. This makes a HUGE difference if they don't. See the other post on here called BLEPHARITIS

I've also had the same problem, but my natural eyelashes are falling off with the extension... I'm a little worried.

Carole, if your natural lashes are falling out with the extensions, then it sounds like it might be a few things. Perhaps the weight/length of the extensions is overbearing on your natural lashes making them thinner and weaker. Or perhaps you have the onset of Blepharitis?
