Allegies can occur over a long period of time, but its uncommon. An allergy to lash glue WILL occur within 24-48 hours after the application. How long have you been wearing your extensions? Is the area itchy?

my clients are fine.. it was me!! I don't know if it was from the fumes evaporating while I was lashing close to their face or what. It seemed to clear up now thank god!

its called CHEMICAL PINK EYE. When the fumes from the lash glue burns the conjunctiva of the eyeball. Usually clears up after a few days. Eyedrops help relieve the discomfort.

Chemical Pink Eye? I've been doing lashes for a couple of months now and recently had the same problem with 2 different clients that I had done lashes on before. I used the faux mink ones instead of the regular loose synthetic ones. Everything else I did exactly the same. The clients both reacted the same way.........eyelids hurting, and bloodshot eyes. I know it couldn't have been the glue cause I used it on them before. The only difference was the lashes.......would that be the same thing? Chemical pink eye?

To answer your question...No, its not the same thing.
Chemical Pink eye is caused by the vapour of the glue, burning an exposed (or partly exposed eyeball). It has nothing to do with which lashes you use. Chemical pink eye does not cause eyelid hurting.
I will start a new post on this subject as it is a very important issue.
