Hi all, Very new to this forum and am so excited that it's here. Its a wealth of knowledge. I've been training on everyone with an eyelash within my friends and family and am going to start charging...hoping to do eyelashes full time eventually.. Just a question regarding insurance..should I get some? Should I get some kind of release for clients to sign? I will be operating home based and maybe some mobile work. I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks Monika

Hi Monika,
Yes I would definitely get Insurance and yes, I would ask your clients to sign a disclaimer if you are apply lashes with a glue that has a slight fume or smell.
Good luck with it all.

I would definately get any new client to sign a waiver release form. Professional indemnity insurance is costly, but unfortunately essential. Since you are working on clients eyes, it would be wise to seriously consider this. Although all care is taken when you work, you never know what can happen. Contact and insurance broker to get you the best price and value for money.

Hi, I am new to this forum:) Regarding this topic of insurance, can anyone recommend a company in Australia that insures for eyelash extensions? Also, how much should I be looking to pay annually? Any info would be appreciated, thank you!
