I use the slanted tweezer to isolate the lashes with and the normal straight ones to apply the lashes. I've never used the X or Curved ones before. Has anyone any experience with those.

I prefer to use the straight tweezers to separate the lashes, and have found a GREAT secret with the tweezers I use for applying the lashes. FIRST you all must promise not to laugh. I scrapbook, it is one of my hobbies. I found these great tweezers, they are very precise and perfect for even the smallest(in diameter) lashes. I found them in the scrapbooking section at Michaels and use them constantly. They are made by Cutterpede(which is an EK Sucess Co.), they only open when you apply pressure to the handle, I will post a picture. I love these because not only do they have a curved edge, but they are so acurate and delicate. One thing you must be careful with, is their sharp edge. They are diamond cut for acuracy, which can be somewhat of a fatal mistake to a client . Anyways, I have fallen in love with these and have found that my application was quicker and less frusterating. Try the link below to see a picture www.eksuccess.com/pop_image.php?product_id=728

Kelly, I'm not sure which way she points the tweezers, but I would imagine that you'd point them downwards so the points of tweezers are on the eyepads/tape.

Yes, Tami is right Kelly, I use these and point them downwards, that way the point is "v"ed upwards, that wAY it doesnt get into the adhesive...these are great!

I purchased the curved tweezers when I first started out, but i have to be honest with you - I don't ever use them anymore. The curved/rounded part gets in the way of my other tweezers when I'm sticking on the extension. Just my opinion - They might work for you guys.
