Hi there,
I got my eyelash extensions done for the first time yesterday. As the lady was placing them, they were burning a little bit she said that was normal. My left eye was tearing quite a bit, after she was done they were pretty red but start to fade after a few minutes. The redness wore off completely after an hour, but before I went to bed I noticed them get red again. At one point I yawned and got teary-eyed and noticed my eyes burning so much. The next day I woke up with my eyes still red. There was slight signs of eye boogers, but nothing worrisome. I went back to the lady that did them and she advised me not to worry and not to have them removed because it's not an infection but just an irritation. This is my second day and the redness is not wearing off. I truly hope it does after a few days, and hope that I just have more sensitive eyes than other.
Anyone have a similar situation happen or would know what I can do to relieve the redness ? I have no itchiness or puffiness so I don't think it's an infection. The burning sensation is weird though when I get teary-eyed. I know I am not supposed to come in contact with any water but that's because of the glue not being fully stuck to the lash apparently.
Please help. Thank you.

Hiya, I was wondering if anyone has any tips for when applying extensions to a larger lady or an older lady with saggy/baggy skin. I really struggle to get the tape/pads to sit correctly. When they close their eyes it just seems to bunch the lashes together and move the tape. I find this so frustrating and don't know how to overcome this situation. Has anyone ever come across this and does anyone have any tips on this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Gemma Hi Gemma, With the client laying back, ask them to close their eyes gently. This is the natural position that the top lashes will fall into and your goal is to not let the tape or collagen pad "ride up" and obstruct the upper lashes; especially the corners. So with their eyes closed gently lift the lid to apply the pad. Only hold the corners of the pad so it doesn't stick to you when you place it on her face. If the client fights you by squeezing her lids shut, just tell them to relax. When they do, it almost will look like they are letting their eyes roll up. It helps to have combed thru the lower lashes to prepare for this. After the pad is down, use the same technique with tape. Tell client to keep eyes shut. Tape outer side of lashes first. Inners are tricky. But keep at it. Practice makes perfect!

I assure you that Eyelash extensions are only dangerous if they are applied wrong or by someone without experience. That was my sister case, she applied her extensions only once at a very low price (a MUST DO she said!) one week later she got very itchy skin around her eyes. Eventough the results look good at the end it was a mess and she didn´t want to hear anything about eyelash extensions. I found a nice Salon near where we live in Weston and got a free consultation to know more about Eyelash extensions, treatment, prices, possible problems, etc... They were surprisingly comprehensive and took the time to explain everything to me. I must say Stylish Brows changed my daily beauty routin, I personnally recommend to get the Eyelashmembership, you will definitely save a lot of money on touch ups and the proccedure it self. You can either call them or visit their website www.stylishbrows.com/eyelash-extensions/ which is actually full of information and you can also get the free consultation there. Hope it works for you girls as it did for me.

I’m a lash technician and I am having issues with my eyes after applying lashes to my clients. They feel fatigued and red after a couple clients. Is there anyone else that has this issue and what did you find that helps?

DermalMD Eyelash serum produces thick, wet look without mascara. It's amazing how well it works. I put it on before going to bed and in the morning. I stopped wearing mascara because my eyes were getting too dry. With this eyelash growth serum, I don't need to wear mascara anymore. Now its looks very osam lashes.

I am not sure what’s up but recently we have had several people who are reacting badly to the glue. Most of these have been clients for years. We also noticed that many seem to be reacting to the flat Lashes too. Has anyone come across this? Any info on products would be helpful. Thanks.
